Our Sky "Superfast" broadband only delivers about 19Mbps so I'll looking to move to a faster supplier as Truespeed fibre is installed down our road.

Our broadband contract expires today and the renewal is £43 per month.

Is there any issue with using Sky Q with a non-Sky broadband supplier? I really like the Sky Q TV interface, the channel availability, F1 etc so don't want to lose that. I don't need a landline, and Truespeed are offering 900Mbps for £29.

Yes, although every so often ours loses the router and we have to reconnect and put the password in. The cynic in me thinks it’s sky being silly as nothing else in the house does it.

I had this with Sky Q, I think it's something to do with WiFi 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz switching it uses.
I couldn't find a fix so just used a Ethernet cable to the Sky box from the router instead, hasn't happened since.

We decided to go with Truespeed, who handled the disconnection from Sky. Yesterday we got 8 silent calls from a Sky services number. Surely this is harassment?
