Santa Pod July 9th anyone going from Herts & Beds

I will be leaving Bedford around 8-8.30am

I`ve been going to Santa Pod for many years now and its a lot of fun if you race or spectate.

Hope to see a few of you there

I think only one person has mentioned it and their car is currently
off the road unable to attend. So, I don't think many are going to it - at least
not that I know of.

Would love to Ceri, but next weekend is already booked solid for me. There do seem to be various of those events booked for the next few months though, so might be able to do one of them

I have got the Friday (15th July) off for a visit to Donnington park for the racing if anyone else interested in going down...

I will be picking a mate up in town so I will be at Sainsburys car park off Clapham road (A6) out of Bedford Just before the bypass (Paula Radcliffe Way) at 8.15am and will be leaving at 8.30am
Should get to Pod by 9am

Just to let you guys know...
I am nursing my car down to the Queens head in Milton Ernest on Friday.
But i aim to be heading for gates opening at 8am so should be there first to welcome you in. We have dedicated parking in the pits so look for my car (Imperial blue Chim with white stripes) and a black TVR flag

Im sure youre Chim will be fine you have just run it in a bit quicker than normal

I will look out for you, as I say I should be there at 9am.


and yes Ceri I will be going up the strip, I hope you are too, dont forget youre licence
im hoping to beat 13.38 @ 104, My Chim was running rich and still is unfortunately.
