Thanks, I have just submitted my entry form.Lets see if I get a Space.
Well the good news is they accepted my car.
The bad news is it all feels a bit too much like a money making exercise to me.
The way I am reading their acceptance email it seems in addition to £20 for the privilege of showing my car to their paying guests, they also require me to purchase entry tickets?
In my experience it is common practice for exhibitors to receive free entry to the event in return for providing their special car.
I have no issue with paying the £20 exhibitor's fee as parking charges are extortionate it Chelsea, but if I am to be charged entry too I may be tempted to go on the Tube instead.
It seems in addition to getting a car to show their paying customers & charging the owner of the car £20.00 for the privilege, they also want to charge him & his wife £30.00 to get into the event?
That seems a bit rich to me, why should I pay twice to help them create the event by bringing an exhibit?

Hi Skipe,
I expect I will still go, so I will be paying the £15.00 a head anyway.
The wife does love a Chelsea shopping trip
I normally avoid her demands to visit the Kings Rd, but with cars involved I think we can make a day of it.
I think the way to look at it is the £20.00 exhibitor's fee is £20.00 to park my Chimaera safely in Chelsea all day.
Actually if I call the £20.00 a Chelsea parking fee somehow it doesn't seem so bad.
See you there, Dave.
