TVR Autumn Sussex run Sunday 23rd October.

I am in the process of arranging an East Sussex run out on Sunday 23rd October as weather permits. We will meet at approx 9am at Horam cuckoo line/trail village car park opposite the Cafe/Bridge @ The High Street Horam TN21 0EL. We are based in the middle of East Sussex (A22/A267) reasonably close to W.Kent areas, Surrey S.E. areas and or course West Sussex.

We plan to have breakfast at Wessons Cafe before we depart at approx 10.30am. The drive out is expected to be about 2.5 hours plus stops as planned, driving through our villages, towns, Ashdown Forest and or course Lewes tunnel a few times!!!
Possibly with a stop for a beverage at a nice public house (coffee of course!) fishing at the seaside for a late fish & chips lunch.

I/we plan to run further runs/outings including maybe a karting grand prix meeting/event following the above, if successful and everybody is interested.

I arrange something similar to what youre doing on a monthly basis, sometimes more often, in & around your area. We get anything from 5 to 25 cars at a time.

I would strongly advise you to start a little earlier & have brekky after you've got a few miles under your belt, this will give you the chance to have a decent blat before the Sunday drivers get on the road.

PM me if you like with an idea of what you plan to do & I'll pass it on to our locals, Im not about that weekend (its my 50th!) but happy to help in any way I can.

Some of our contants are now on SORN or unable to come , shame as the weather is good. Only 2 as of now (4.30) including me !!!.

Did the run go ahead? If so hope it went well.

I mentioned it to the Sussex TVR club yesterday and I think you would have had a lot of takers from the group, but sadly no one was available at such short notice. I think you may need to work on your publicity next time

Great starting point at Wessons - They do a fantastic brekkie!! Certainly keep me posted for any future runs!
