Surrey monthly meet 27/9 the black Swan Ockham

Hi guys, monthly meet time again at The Black Swan in Ockham form 7.30pm onwards. New members always welcome. We are expecting cars from Kent, West Sussex and Hampshire tonight so it's going to be fun and dry with any luck (the roads not the bar)!

Now as it is September it is time to potentially nominate a new RO so in the spirit of fair play, if anyone is feeling brave then do step forward. Nominations will be in the bar tonight but don't all rush at once. I am putting together a photo book of LSRX so if any of you have any photos that you think would be really useful then do e-mail them to me or send me a CD (I can offer beer/pop as reward)

Please also bring with you your deposits for the Surrey Christmas party to be held on Saturday December 8th at Horsley Towers. this is a black tie event and the deposit is £20 per person with the final balance to be paid at the October monthly meet (£17.50 each). Spaces are filling up fast so don't hang about.

We will also be having a Christmas dinner on Saturday December 8th for anyone who can't make the 8th. This will be at The Half-Moon at Windlesham so we are assured of great food. This will not be black tie so please let me know if you'd like to come to this too as I need to get some numbers to the restaurant staff asap.

Busy meet, plenty of TVRs in the dry car park. Even Peter Filby came along with his new shiny TVR book and signed a few copies. Great to meet drivers from Hants, Kent and West Sussex and Berkshire too! See you next month.
