I was put off last year as parking was away from camping, so you had to hump all your camping gear from the parking area to the camping area, then leave your car for the weekend.
A le Mans style park on your camping pitch would have been miles better.
Can't see the point of taking the nice car which seems a shame given the point of the event.
I assume it is the same arrangement this year?

If you haven't already bought your tickets I suspect your too late, certainly for camping as I heard several options being announced as 'sold out' while the Chris Evans show was still on this morning!
I assume the idea is that your car is part of the show and as it's supposed to be a family friendly event they don't want cars mixed in with people, as you always get someone who wants to drive like an idiot through the camp site, a bit like the Centre Parc concept I guess?
ETA Yep, Just checked the site all camping sold out only some three day and single day access tickets left.

The exhibitors section at Car fest North was perthetic ,there should of been alot more cars and they even had the cheek to charge them a fortune to exhibit .The cars make the show !
It was more about selling Jamie olivers food at £7 a plate and useing the word charity to make even more money ..
Sick and tired of listening to Chris Evans on radio two talking about the shows ..
They are all in it together
its all a big scam !!! £60 for a day in times of recession is nothing more than greed
