Phil,

Excellent news!

We are as you might of guessed..... still very much ON for the Open Day. You guys WILL need to wrap up warm as all areas around the sight are very much exposed and open to the 'cold' elements!!!

Suggestion - Perhaps you might like to contact / email the Berkshire and Hampshire crew 'privately' and encourage them to add their names to your list which you have just started - that way when there is a 'few' on the list - the others will automatically follow (No I shall not say like sheep!!!) As you know Hampshire have a list of over a dozen coming in convoy on the TVRCC site, but I have a feeling that they will be hitting the country roads rather than the A34 and M4. However, I believe they will be coming from Junction 15 M4 (via Marlborough) and head on down around the Swindon duel carriage way by pass.

Any way your call!

Can I please stress guys for all that are reading this - due to the amount of cars coming the police have been advised. TWO points - keep your speed down and BE very careful at the cross roads where Neil Garner's workshops are. This cross roads lies on the main fast A429 road and is in a dip. Many accidents have occurred there, some I have to report fatalities - Approach the Open Day site with care! You have been warned!

Paul - Co-organiser of the event

May be a bit further on the M4 for you for you but the Bristol TVR club are meeting 9.30am at the Cross Hands Pub (BS37 6RJ)on the A46, just north of the M4 to convoy up to NG.

Hi Phil

My son and I are coming up from Hampshire and have to set off early as I have been invited to show my car at " Blackpool Corner " at NG. We will be about to join the M4 from the A34 about the same time as you go by. PM if you you can with your number and perhaps we can meet along the way. Doesn't matter if not it's just if we are only a mile apart I can wait or catch up.
