I'm going too, probably for a bit of tourism on Friday and on the track on Saturday and Sunday (for few laps also) with my starmist green Chim.

Morning all!

Correction - we are aiming for the 1150 crossing tomorrow.
Zeb, I've seen your comments many times on the Chimaera forums. Eyes peeled for a fixed head wedge too! The circuit is an epic drive.

My daughter is coming on this trip too, her first time to Spa. We've got the entrance tickets/paddock parking from Ian (Longers).
We intend seeing some of the practice and buying a programme so that we're sure of the TVR races and times. So will go in on Friday. Monday is the shopping/non-petrol day for my daughter in Spa itself.

Bonne route! Nick

And my wife saw a wedge (convertible) for the first time last year and thought it was very nice (definitely not a common reaction :-)). Since, I'm keeping an eye on the market, replacing my Scimitar with a Tasmin FH is something possible.

We have made it to our overnight stop in Maidstone, ready for the 8:20 tunnel crossing tomorrow.

Looks like we will be parking with you guys at the circuit.

Hope everyone has a safe journey.

All the best

It was great to meet you Vincent and share the experience of driving the iconic Spa circuit at the same time as you.

I hope to meet you again at a future event and maybe you will come over to the dark side and buy a Tasmin FH after all thumbup

Thanks Nick, it was a great opportunity to put faces to names.
And this track is really amazing, it was a good experience, I regret not having done more sessions.
The bad weather prevented us from meeting more people unfortunately.

First time at Spa Classic- what a great event and brilliant to see so many TVRs from Europe and the UK.

Some circuit to drive on too!

Good to see you at another circuit FHC Nick!

I started this post.....and then never met you folks.

I guess that's the difference of travelling with daughters! They have to do the full "preparation" in the morning.

We did get to speak to Florent (?) in the French club with his Sagaris, also the owner of the only TVR garage in Switzerland (Orse?). It was great to see a lot of the European regions represented.

Laurent is the owner of the Sagaris (Florent-Laurent you were close). He is not a great fan of forums or FB.
You were with your daughter, I was with a friend who has the same issue, he needs couple of hours before being operational :-).
Again the weather ruined a bit the social interactions, I even discovered yesterday that we were not 7 cars from the French club but 8, I never saw this member from the whole weekend. I was planning to meet also one of the German club board member (my car is in the front page of their 2025 club calendar, what an honor wink), and we have not managed to find us...

Zeb, thanks for your understanding!!. Yes, the weather did not help.
Are you France, or UK based?
Maybe next year I'll get to do Circuit des Remparts - and have the opportunity to buy you a beer?

Nick.

I'm in France (in Haute-Savoie).
I have never been to Circuit des Remparts. However, it's an event I would like to see once, if on top of it I can get a free beer, it sounds like a plan for next year smile.
