Isle of Wight Car Show

the show is being held this year in September, 19th and 20th, we are only allocated 10 car spaces per car club/marque, and I already have 3 griffiths and an S, and a possible Tuscan and Cerbera looking to attend.
It would be good if I could include a Sagaris, T350, Tamora, a wedge and a chimaera, so if anyone is interested please PM me, it will have to be on a first come basis and I`ll draw up a reserve list as it is a fair time away and commitments change ect.

and for those that express an iterest in attending I will forward details of car ferries and hotels, or b & b`s ect.

the general format for those wishing to make a weekend of it would be to meet up saturday morning `ish, have a nice drive around the island take in scenery ect, and stop off for a good pub lunch ect, and attend the car show on the sunday at Ryde esplanade.

I know september is a long way off, and it is difficult to commit yourself to an event some 6-7 months away,but the awkward part is the location here on the island, booking ferries and accomodation ect, so I would appreciate people letting me know as soon as possible if they can or can`t make it, because if you change your mind and cancel near the time of the show makes it difficult for other people who may want to step in and take your place.

Couldn't we have our own hoon this weekend also? Get more than 10 cars down, there's plenty of room around the event both days. I hadn't my name down Saturday last year and still turned up, left the car at the Quay Pub, Newport, had a good look around and there was loads of space. Went around the show then picked up the car...drove though the whole event and sure shook up the old chaps in there MG's and Beetles

we are limited to 10 car spaces for the show. the same number as every other club attending, and plan to have our own trip out and grub ect on the saturday
