ROAR 2010 ALL TVR's EVENT
Discussion
Roar 2010 General Information
25th, 26th and 27th June 2010
ROAR is back for 2010...more exciting, more entertaining and more models.
That’s right, the Chimera owners took one for the team in honing this event and now it is open to all TVR owners…we may even allow a few 'guests' in to spice life up a bit!
Due to popular demand, we're back at the Best Western Moorside Grange Hotel & Spa in the Peak District. Giving us a picturesque, relaxing base for an event that can be as hectic and competitive as you want to make it. We've even negotiated a particularly good room rate for you (see footnote), so get your bookings in fast or you'll be under canvas.
Event specifics, including a briefing for some of the more 'competitive' amongst us, will be published shortly through TVRCC ROs and on Pistonheads. Rest assured that we are working with a group of corporate partners and exhibitors to ensure there will be plenty to see, experience, learn and compete in at ROAR 2010….look forward to seeing you there and keep your eyes peeled for updates.
(£30 per head based on two people sharing a room…including a full English Breakfast).

ROAR 2010
Another firm favourite in the calendar is back and even better for 2010.
We weren’t satisfied with last years event so we sat down and did something about it. 2010 sees ROAR reborn as an all TVR model event, designed to deliver a weekend of fun, frolics and competitions … with good food and some unforgettable driving routes thrown in.
This year we are aiming our sights higher than we have ever done before and are in full flow planning a weekend that will draw TVR specialist exhibitors and TVR enthusiasts from across the land. We already have a long list of exhibitors that have confirmed attendance and an even longer list of exhibitors to contact on our 'to do' list.
This year we're back at the Moorside Grange Hotel in Stockport, on the edge of the peak district. This is a wonderful hotel and location. The management have given ROAR a block booking for the weekend and have given us free use of the Hotels facilities and grounds. For those who want to relax or get some much needed pampering the hotel includes a luxury Spa and fitness centre! For those of you who want to be entertained we have something a little different for you!
Our exhibitors are working with us to plan and run special events and activities for everyone to watch and/or take part in to keep you entertained throughout the weekend.
We are planning to hold a swap shop, to enable people who have unwanted TVR parts or gifts that are lying around at home to sell them to people at the show. The idea is that people donate some or all of their profits to charity.
This year sees the introduction of the ROAR CHALLENGE. This is an event where teams of like minded TVRCC members from the regions (7 per team), get together for the duration of weekend to participate in a number of light hearted events and challenges. Contact your RO for details or visit our website for more information on the event.
The website will be live from the 15th March 2010 with full details of the event and how to book. Link will be posted shortly
