A small request.

I'm sure there will be a lot of you going to the sprint at the BNG, so could someone please get some video of Brian Hosfield driving PW's 5000M and post it on youtube or somewhere? Unfortunatly I'll not be able to attend the weekend, other commitments, getting married actually.

Many thanks
Brian J

Sorry to poke my nose in here :-)

Two questions ...

1) is you illumination run open to NON TVR cars also? (Aston Martin for example)

2) Same question as above but for the Rolling Road?

Many thanks and not a problem if the answer is NO . I'll understand.

Another question.

Are people not in a TVR welcome to the events, (not as above, rolling road etc) just for taking photos, watching the sprint, etc.

If so, can I copy your post into the North West section as I am sure loads of others would like to come and enjoy the days?

Best wishes, hope there will be some good weather.

1) We're meeting in a pulic area so no problem to bring the Aston and run with us, I'm sure we'll get the odd interloper anyway and an Aston is preferable to a rusty escort biggrin

2) It'll be interesting to see an Aston on the rollers, might even convince you that you need to buy a 'proper car' hehe If you download the entry form from this link http://www.tvr-car-club.co.uk/BH2010-form.pdf and fill in your details and then send that off to the TVRCC office, we'll sort something out for you to sure that you can get access to the TVR area to access the RR.

I've replied to your PM so you have my contact details if you have any problems.

Certainly, everyone's welcome to come and view, take photos etc. They won't be allowed into the TVR parking area but there will be plenty of on-street parking available in the area.

Thanks for the good wishes biggrin

We have arranged for the whole weekend to be video'd from set up on Friday afternoon to closing on Sunday. Copies will be available through the TVR Club car club and will be advertised on various websites.

No although the entry isn't huge we've got a reasonably diverse collection of cars.

Am I right in thinking the Run Outs all start at the same time from the same location? (1pm prom)

So that the 83 mile run that ends at Junction 1 M55 will end there at approx 3:15pm on the Saturday (4th).

Where exactly will the end be? Car Park or just a rolling finish?

The Car Park for the Phantom Winger is at the same junction and can host a good number of cars, in case you were looking for somewhere to rest at the end of the run for a few minutes.

I'll be passing there at roughly the same time on my way back home so will keep an eye out for sure.

If anyone wants to meet up after the run I have access to a private car park that can hold up to 40 cars which is approx 5 miles from the sea front towards Cleveleys.

Anyone wishing to pull-in for a few moments, wash the car etc.. are welcome to do so. Just fire me a PM or an email.

You need a class B (non race) licence, overalls and a helmet.

If you have those you can still enter by filling in the entry form on this link.

http://www.tvr-blackpool.co.uk/bng10/entry-form-fo...

It would probably be advisable to call the TVRCC office to let them know if you intend to enter.

Sorry, just re read my post. I wasn't intending to do the sprint, was just wondering whether I could turn up at pontins in the Cerb and run down to the sprint venue and park with TVRs on sunday.

Hi Jim, the Fylde Boat Angling Club have there club house on the site and are opening up for the 2 days to serve food and drink, they are also doing an outside BBQ. It is also a licenced premise with a bar and cask beers! We have also arranged for a burger van at the Northern end of the site and an Ice Cream van to be in attendance.

All we need is the weather for a brilliant time
