TVRCC Herts & Beds: FBeaconsfield FC - Car & Bike Show
Discussion
Hi folks
I've been forwarded this show from the Middlesex group as it is not too far from St Albans/Hatfield, about 30 mins or so.
If you are interested in attending - let me know. The details are all in the flyer below. If you like Rock and Roll and American styled cars - could just be up your street
Thanks, A.

Right. Time to start to catch up on some TVRCC business at last
Here is a small write up on the above event with the Middlesex group that we joined last Sunday. Not a long write up for this event as it was planned by the Middlesex group and I suspect Andy may be doing a report for it himself sometime in the future.
Thanks, Alex
"After meeting up at the convoy point early on Sunday morning, myself and a few other TVRs hit the M25 and made our way over to Beaconsfield FBC. Although we had a slight detour on the way (due to my silly SatNav navigation
), we arrived at the show well within my original estimates and setup camp.

After having some interesting discussions about my Subaru and a sparkling clean Chim
(I told you I would get it in, mate!
), we split up and went off to have a look around the show.
The Beaconsfield show is primarily dedicated to American classics - and boy - were there a lot of them! I love the way some of these classics look and there was quite a large selection of them (a few pics below)

There were a number of TVRs also present, but sadly not enough to be able to make a meaningful display ourselves
which was a bit of a shame given the variety of cars there.
Anyway, after wandering around the cars and discussing the merits of some of the more colorful classics verses the more modern sportscars also on display, we met up with some of the Middlesex group and compared notes on some issues that a certain yellow chim was having.
As part of this discussion, we also compared how a couple of those Chim's looked inside and rated them on things like power and cleanliness.

Verses

We all came to the same conclusion
A bit of harmless fun on a day that was well worth the visit!
One to add to next year as well, I think, but hopefully with a bigger TVR presence!"
