TVRCC Herts & Beds: Go Karting! A proposal for thought!

Hi folks
I have a proposal regarding the Go Karting event I would like to float by everyone for some thoughts.
The original idea with the Go karting was that we would go off to some place with a run-in (maybe with or without TVRs depending on family coming) - thanks for the suggestions Dan! - spend part of the day racing each other silly around the track, have some grub, drink etc, then head back.
However, I would like to propose something slightly different - which I hope will be more fun & more of a social event for us - and get some thoughts from people.
What if we expanded the event to include some people from the other regions and had an inter-regional contest? Obviously, the teams would need to have the same numbers, but it would be something which I think could liven the event up by having some more competition & maybe some better prizes
We can still have a go karting event for H&Bs by itself, but then have a larger, more competitive event to aim for afterwards.
I've pinged other ROs in the area to see what their thoughts are and the response I've had so far is positive. Obviously, the more regions we get interested, the more exciting the event can be.
At this point in time, this is just an idea I'm after some feedback on. If people are interested in this, then I'll put something on the table, if however, people are more happier with a smaller, more local event, then I'll stick with the original plan.
So, now the tricky part... FEEDBACK!!! Tell me what you want to do guys & gals!

Responses so far indicate people don't mind what we do, so...
- I will arrange the original Go karting as planned
- I will look at arranging another Go karting interregional event later on in the year - probably autumn - when the calendar of the club is clearer, so that regions who have expressed an interest so far can attend.
That way, we get the best of both worlds, unless anyone else has any brighter ideas
