The Motorbike Show ITV4
Discussion
Do you know what I watched this on catch up the other night, at first I thought the guy leading was a bit of a numpty but after a while I found him quick witted and a genuine bike fanatic. He went to the wheelie school, was at Oulton with Walker and Hill, at Norton's TT launch and then bought an old Yam XR 500.
Worth a watch.
Worth a watch.
Henry Cole's best work, I think, are his 'World's Best Motorcycle Rides' which crop up on The Travel Channel (Sky 251).
He's done quite a few - several routes in the States, including tracing Route 66, the Romantic Route in Germany, the Isle of Man etc.
He normally manages to convey huge enthusiasm for being 'on-the-road' and also moans like mad when he's wet through from riding in the rain. I quite like his style on these programmes.
I think the Motorbike Show just tried to cram too much into one programme - but that's typical of most magazine style shows.

It was an XT500.Worth a watch.
watched this as well, seen some of the rides in different countries he's done too, theyre ok.
he needs to really, REALLY work on his voiceover tho. if he loosened up and was himself more this could have the makings of quite a fair programme and it is an untapped market atm.
think back to how clarkson used to deliver his lines in early top gear stuff.
