Now that we’ve got YouTube premium at home I can now subscribe to my own stuff and keep my kids youtube separate.

So I subscribe to,

Colin Furze - (mad UK Engineer/inventor)
Space x and blue origin (Musk and bezoz’s space ships)
Ozzy man reviews (Australian comedian)
The body coach TV (fitness guy)

Bit of an eclectic mix.

Looking for ideas from others though, which youtubers or channels do you all follow or subscribe to?

Tom Scott - he travels around a lot, reporting on various interesting places, scientific research establishments etc. Very eclectic.

Lindybeige - history, military history, swing dancing (not delved into that section), medieval stuff etc. A classic British eccentric, completes most of his his vidoes in one take in a slightly odd, sometimes slightly rambling but entertaining fashion.

Photonic Induction - probably familiar to a lot of PHers - nutjob electrical engineer who experiments with extremely dangerous looking equipment in his house and garden. His latest stuff has become borderline incomprehensible, but there's plenty of old stuff to delve into.

Vintage Space - friendly Canadian (?) lady who vlogs about Mercury/Gemini/Apollo era spacey stuff.

CGP Grey - Anglophile American guy living in the UK, narrates over animations explaining myriad topics from voting systems to AI to history to .... well you just have to check it out. Very good stuff.

Vintage Space (Amy is indeed Canadian although based in the US)
TMRO
The Everyday Astronaut
The Flying Reporter
Curious Droid
Scott Manley
Neil de Grasse-Tyson public talks and his Star-Talk radio show
The History Guy

Also am watching a lot of US TV news to get a better understanding of what is happening over there at the moment.

I also love looking for original TV footage of space flight coverage such as was broadcast by CBS and NBC during the earl;y manned space programmes.

A couple off the top of my head;

Teapotone - Bruce went around the world on his GSXR-1000 and now does bike vlogging and tours.
Andyman cam, lamb chops rides - Both motovloggers

Vet Ranch & Off the Ranch - I watch these with the little one. Vet Ranch is all about fixing broken animals and Off teh Ranch is the Vet who owns the Vet practice and all the shinanngans he gets up to. He also does Demolitian Ranch which is a lot of blowing stuff up......He is Texan after all!

Shrugged Collective - Weightlifting and general phys

GMBN (Global Mountain Bike Network) - Mountain biking stuff

Joe Rogan Experience.

The chap has a very diverse guest list and ranges from 1 - 3 hours. A lot are MMA and fellow comedians but there are also many others. Philosophers, scientists with varying backgrounds including geological, astrophysicist, historical, biological..... You get the idea. For the most part, they're not generally boring and move through a lot of interesting areas. I'd recommend all the time.

One more worthy of mention if you like being spoon fed information in small doses, is a channel called "DARK5". Lots of facts on 5 different facts/events. It passes the time if you're slightly bored.

I love Sailing Doodles! No car stuff, but a bit of sailing, travelling around beautiful places, lots of humour, some technical stuff on maintenance which I really enjoy and young ladies in bikinis...

A very good channel with quality content. I can't abide most of the car vloggers/bloggers and very few of them will be around in a few years.

Shmee150, although he has an annoying persona about him, he has good content and it's not all about:

- look at my next car
- this is my next car
- what do you think my next car should be?

No one really cares...

The Slow Mo Guys I find rather interesting and a level above most amateurs on YouTube. Def worth a watch if you have time. 11m subscribers can't all be wrong.

Agree with Slow Mo guys and Fail Army, I often watch these to pass a few minutes.

I also like Dude Perfect, they seem to have a genuine laugh.

My recently watched also includes outtakes from Extras which had me in stitches.
