Watched it last night, had been looking forward to it. First ep was pretty dull, not sure I can be @rsed to give it another chance.

Pretty strange programme.

I'll keep watching it but won't be desperately waiting for the next episode!

I gave it a go but wasn’t paying much attention. I got up to get something and when I came back I thought he was playing brothers.

But I guessed after a while one of them is meant to also be him? I couldn’t be bothered trying to figure it out and turned it off.

Is it worth giving it another go?

Haven’t seen the programme, but I saw a clip of him being interviewed about it and he asked people to at least watch two before they give up on it as the first one is a bit slow as it had a lot of setting the story.

I dunno - the line "You'v e basically taken your sofa out for a walk" was genius

It's OK, it's easy watching to have on in thebackground, a mid range britcom.

Hated the singalong bit, it seemed very old.

Episodes 3 and 4 were better than the first two. It's not bad, but it's not great either.

I'm going to buck the trend here, I'm really enjoying it. Quite a few lough out loud moments with some very cleverly written pieces, with the key here being how Karl superbly delivers them.

Perhaps It's because I'm a miserable bd who can relate a lot to the character's dislike of people etc, but in a world where dogste such as Mrs Brown's Boys gets comedy airtime, I think this is quite refreshing.

I liken it to 15 Storeys High, which was also very well written, very subtle, but very well delivered by the centre actor(s).

I came across 15 Storeys High around 15 years after it had aired. It was on Gold, I thought it was new(ish), it was hilarious, loved it.
Sick of It has it's moment...I think I had just built it up from my expectations of Karl and the trailer. From loving; Derek, Hello Ladies, and his travelogue shows.
I do like the central conceit

I used to go to school with Karl and I’m glad to see him doing so well.

We used to skip school a lot and play footie in the park

Pissed myself when he was doing the car tune thing, very funny expressions.

Its not a constant laugh a minute, which makes it all the better.

Karl isnt al pachino levels of acting, but good enough for what it is.
