Starts on More 4 Thursday 21.00.

I've been waiting for this series to make it across to a UK network for a couple of years.

It'd better be good.

We are, potentially, about to be spoiled for spy dramas to watch, with Little Drummer Girl on BBC1 on Sunday and Condor on Universal on Monday.

Off the back of this post I've just watched all of series 1&2 biggrin Series 3 has been filmed and waiting on a transmission date as far as I can tell. Worth watching if you have the time

It's pretty good, and Berlin is a city I know bits of, so it's interesting to me. Certainly more interesting than watching anything filmed in London (and I live here!)

Standouts (no spoilers)
The cast are very good, (handful of Brits) but Rhys Ifans is brilliant in this.

And I don't know what it is about Mina Tander (Krug) But all night till it fell off! cloud9laugh

I've got this and LDG stacking on the box, dropped COndor, it's trite, but both of these look like quality

To see Berlin, a city I've spent time in, is interesting to me. Its just a personal thing. (Also refreshes my German biggrin )

But how many contemporary tv shows aired in the UK are filmed in London? The vast majority. I hate the capital-centric nature of the media. Again, a personal thing.

Fair enough.

I've just started this. Pretty good. Doesn't quite get you hooked like Condor or Jack Ryan. But definitely a good watch.

Rhys Ifans been taking acting lessons from Damien Lewis. Same accent almost and mannerisms as Axe.

I think this is excellent. Is there anywhere (legit) you can watch series 2 in the UK or will I have to wait for More 4 to air it?

Really getting into this now. Is anyone else having difficulty with the sound mixing though? The music, such as titles and in nightclubs is really loud, so I turn it down, then I can't hear what people are saying so have to turn it up.

I do have this problem with other channels and programmes but it seems much ore pronounced on here.

Hate to admit it but I turn the sub-titles on for the very reason you state.

We binge-watched the last 4-episodes yesterday. It was like someone flicked a switch after the first-4, which were a hard watch.

But the sound is very poor. My recorder was also playing up, always at a point like in the synagogue where it was an important bit. Must remember subtitles in future.

But for anyone who has not yet watched it, I thoroughly recommend it. Now that the characters are fully developed, it can only get better and better.

Missed this at the time!
Just watched the first series on the free app UkTvPlay
3 series in total, 30 odd episodes
Good cast & set in Berlin, which is interesting.

All series are now on ITVX FOC.

Started on series 1 although I felt like I had missed an episode, but I think that is deliberate.

I will be watching the next episode with the subtitles on. Does sound like they are mumbling a bit.

Afraid we gave up 3 episodes in.

Very wordy and just, we both felt, dull.

Usually my wife will watch a party political broadcast if it had Richard Armitage in, but this just didn't keep our attention at all, usually we struggle through things to the end of a series at least.

TV Drama at its very best. We have only recently seen series 3 and it was a fitting end.
