Just came across this as one of the new releases this week. Trailer looks awesome:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0o2xteiJt94

Takes me back: always the dodgy kids at school that groomed rave to the young 'uns!?

  • Looks for white gloves*
Tracklist looks awesome

  • Looks for whistle*
Could easily be the prequel to Trainspotting: the two leads look like Spud & Sick Boy!

  • Looks for Vicks*

Netlifx have this very annoying habit of making movies that should be tv shows and tv shows that should be movies.

I think this would be perfect as a tv show.

Now on iPlayer

Great movie.

Great soundtrack

Great cars!

Meant to be set in 1994 when the Criminal Justice Bill came in but most of the tunes are more suited to 1991 but if you think about it it fits in with the theme and mood of the film.

Still managed to take me back to starting secondary school, obsessed by The Prodigy, rave tapes being passed around, XL records, Suburban Base...

I find it odd there's little cultural representation about the rave scene so had been really looking forward to this.

I was a little disappointed to be honest. It's a decent film but they didn't quite nail the soundtrack for me even though I know that's probably just the budget reality.
