I couldn’t find a thread about this new to Sky series set in the late 1800s in America about the Tong and its development amongst the Chinese community in California. Lots of martial arts and nudity so will certainly suit a few here. Enjoyable nonsense with a hint of Bruce Lee and noodles

Is pretty good, but it's so, so dark. Can barely see what is going on half the time.

Watched the first one last night. There is some sort of relationship to the awesomeness that was Banshee.
I noticed an ad for Banshee beer (or something) at one point.
I'll give it another episode but wasn't very enamoured.
I do agree that the brothel owner is stunning though.

Banshee is the name of the bar where the Irish hang out

The actor who played Jobe in Banshee (Hoon Lee) is also in Warrior.

Yeah spotted him.
A little digging reveals both series were developed by the same man.
Banshee was better.

I thought elements looked similar, but I've only watched half of the first episode.

I imagine it is. A very hard job to better Banshee. Still, I'm looking forward to a good watch of this!
