Just started watching this, looks like it could be pretty good. 1st of 7 parts following the events of WWII, started at 9pm.

Very good and although we know the story it's a interesting take on how it affected ordinary peoples lives here and abroad..

Great film for pedantry! Why would a car in Danzig have a wood-burner on the back when war had only just started?

How do you pay your TV licence?
We get it here as part of the cable package (for which we pay). I guess our cable supplier pays the BBC in the same way they pay other senders.
