Did anyone see this, it was on BBC2 on Monday?

What a brilliant 90 minutes, and a great performance by the young actor who plays Ray, primarily it is exploring the fact that a child fom the age of 10 can be tried as an adult.

It was based on a case local to me:

My daughter was in the same form class and was friends with Jerome, who is Ray in the dramatisation so the dramatisation was fairly close to home.

Just watched this and found it quite upsetting towards the end. For him to have to go that far it must have been horrendous living in that environment.

Sad thing is I bet so many kids are in those situations.

From what I've read he was a decent kid being the carer for his mum and 2 half sister/brothers.
