All4 HD: Anyone work for C4?

Curious if All4 has any plans to support HD streaming like iPlayer does?
If not, I'm curious why not?
I guess the root answer is money, but would seem pretty easy in this day and age to enable HD streaming from your Server infrastructure to your app. They have quite a few good programs now, but it's so frustratingly bad on a 4K telly I guess C4 would have to pay the extra upload costs to CDN's, but from then, I would imagine its then subscribers that pay for the extra bandwidth, not them
Interested if anyone knows the Background.
