Does scrubs count as they’d clearly ended it at series 9 but it was forced into that ridiculous series ten?

Friends was consistently tedious for me so yes.
Personal opinion on liking a show aside, The Sopranos and The Wire - I loved one and liked the other but both never dropped off.

M.A.S.H. actually improved over the duration of its run.

Can’t help think of Lost as the polar opposite of your post. Dogst last few seasons.

Sopranos was amazing right until the end, The Office too, the Christmas specials being at least as great as the two seasons in my opinion.

I recently was planning to rewatch Seinfeld from start to finish, but I had to give up somewhere around season four, it was just getting way too tedious.

Curb is into season 10 now and still fantastic.

Yes and no. They ended it perfectly (selling the pocket watch for x million £) and becoming rich 'plonkers'. They then couldn't leave it alone, bought it back, and it was crap.

The Thick of It.

(definitely not Family Guy in my opinion - got pretty poor in the last few seasons)

Good call on This Life, didn't realise it was on BBC4, bit worried it might not be as good as I remember it.
