Been getting really annoyed with people watching various stuff on my netflix account and as a result, get odd suggestions and also sometimes they are watching the same box series as me, so it gets really confusing.

The security is really bad, which is surprising, since it's them who are losing revenue - a 2 step system wouldn't be that hard or imposing if they had trusted devices. Tried changing password and username, but they still come back, guessing its one of the kids devices being compromised.

So I have decided to implement what appears to be the most sensible solution.

After changing your password, have you logged out of all devices currently signed in? Accounts can stay logged in even the account details have changed.

On a slightly different subject, I am currently renting a furnished house in Spain and am due to leave in 2-weeks time.

I have set up my account on their smart tv and so just wish to prevent my account being used again when I leave.

I am expecting to see a list of active devices on my account and to be able to remove this TV from the list of authorised units.

I set the account up on my iPad, but there is nothing like that list shown.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I would think a total factory reset of the tv would help

Don’t you just go to Settings and Disconnect All Devices, then change your password?

That is not an option on my iPad - do you have to use a Windows PC?

More than likely. The app gives very little control over the account, that is done mostly through the website.

Think you just go onto Google or whatever browser you use and search for the Netflix.com web page or whatever it is and log in and change it there. Don't use the app.

Did this on holiday and there was an option in the TV to remove the account.

Go to the Netflix website and sign in, do it from there.
