Looking forward to this! not sure about applauding every visual joke, hope that doesn't continue through the whole thing.

It can't be any worse than Back to Earth. Incidentally, I stumbled across the Back to Earth Smeg ups on Youtube the other day. Even the cast seemed to be having a sh*t time making it.

I'll give it a go, but my expectations are pretty low.

Lucky I watched approx one and a half really old eps to prepare the other day. They were not very good so I wont now be sitting there thinking its not as good as the past.

+ another on the "will give it a try for old times sake" bandwagon.

Noticed there's series made in 2016/17, but can't recall if I've ever tried to watch one!

The back to earth ones were crap. But watch the last series, it was back to what it used to be! Hopefully they've carried that over to this one.

I used to be such a big Dwarf fan. Superb series right up until season 6. Then such a nose dive to a dreadful season 7. Season 8 was slightly better, but never got close to the first 6 seasons. Everything since then seems to be completely cringeworthy sadly. I'd love to watch this, but fear it will be as rubbish.

With you there! Back to earth was a shower of brown!

The last few seasons have been as good as any of the other, Bar Red Dwarf VIII - I didnt like that one as much

Say what you want about Back To Earth, but I thought it was good enough to see Chloe Annett back.

Started of quite good and did bore a bit in the middle and then finished slightly better.
Probably as amusing as any early ones. Back then people thought a camera running backwards was some sort of comedy genius.
Sort of got the impression the other characters were from a red dwarf convention.
