Sad news indeed, as part of The Goodies brought many a smile to faces in the 70s, all of which continued into his later work.

The Goodies is right up there with the best of British comedy. Laugh out loud funny.

Surely Spike Milligan was the father smile
ISIRTA was perhaps the kindergarten.

I grew up with ISIRTA, recording with mic in front of radiogram loudspeaker (jumpers for goalposts etc). Professr Prune & the electric time trousers.
Saw TBT in conversation with Chris Searle a couple of years ago. Good anecdotage.
