A chance to watch all the people who don’t pay any real tax or contributions to the NHS and wouldn’t touch it with a barge pole spend an evening telling is how important the NHS and how we should give our money to it. Which is nice.
Be nice if each performance contained details of how much tax paid and what they’ve donated on top. Like Live Aid but the correct way round.
They should be able to raise quite a few billion from each other for a great cause.

I made it until mid-night last night streaming on Prime; recording the main "concert" off BBC to watch a little later.
My winner - on many fronts - voice, playing, tasteful home studio - from the bits I saw was Sheryl Crow, by a mile.
So many people using Auto-Tune though, and pretty sure Adam Lambert was lip-synching (well, nearly) his second song, at least... ... I guess it might have been some sort of transmission lag

I have to say that even allowing for the acoustics and lack of production, I thought that Paul McCartney, Stevie Wonder and Elton John were terrible. Conversely, Taylor Swift, Celine Dion, Billie Eilish, Tom Jones and particularly Lady Gaga herself came across very well. But as many misses as hits for me, some of it unlistenable.

Highly doubt he was using auto-tune. He's a fantastic singer live. Brian and Roger are no fools.

And yes, the BBC somehow managed to take a perfectly good and appropriate format, and muck it right up. Hey ho.
