Righty. Clearly lock down taking it's toll on Mrs CFXII and me. Apart from the fact that I just explained we (she) can't say 'of off' ever, after catching up on old missed Blake's 7 during the lockdown, it's clear to me that the theme tune for Red Dwarf is a very clever, and not that subtle, take off of (fk, there we go again) the Blake's 7 theme tune. Check up on YouTube as required. The chords are the same, just on Red Dwarf they go off and play jazz part way in.

It's so obvious, I don't know why she can't see it. Help me lads, you're my only hope..................

Erm, not sure if I’m falling for a joke here, but no. I can’t hear any similarities, although I’m happy to admit I don’t have a musical ear.

Nope , nothing like it, time for you to hand in any sharp object and get strapped down in the comfy chair.

op, sit somewhere quiet, take some deep breaths and clear your mind.

Now ask yourself this question, IS there even a wife?

I can't quite believe it. Last time I was wrong was 1988....headache

I will have to sit in a darkened room... the themes going round in my head - indistinguishable from each other.....

She was there last time I looked.... She is real, honestly. idea

Oh, she's out at the moment doing her hour's permitted exercise out on her broomstick..
I am going to have to admit she may have been slightly more accurate than me here....

One is a Rock n Roll homage and the other a low rent Vangelis rip-off on a Yamaha PPS composed by John Shuttleworth,

Get a grip that man.

It has all the right notes, but not necessarily in the right order.

I loved that episode, I used to be able to recite that scene. "You can see the sea, it's over there between the land and the sky." Great.
