Sky - please help me to choose the right package
Discussion
Just moved to a house with next to no internet and no TV signal. Locals tell us that Sky is the only viable home telly solution here, and there is indeed an old Sky dish nailed to the side of the house.
Not being a corporate lawyer or a tech-head, trying to negotiate the Sky website has given me a massive headache. We just want a basic package of TV and films, ideally with Spotify which I believe used to be thrown in for new subscribers but it doesn't look like it is now (?).
We don't do gaming and the children are all grown up and gone so we don't need kids' stuff. I like sport but not enough to p*ss off the missis with a barrage of it so we won't be wanting any of the heavy duty sports channels.
Any suggestions as to the best package to help me gird my loins before I put in a call to Sky for I'm guessing half an hour of high-pressure upselling would be massively appreciated. Thankee.

Similar to what I've got then:
i have
Sky Entertainment - think this is the most "basic" package so you get Sky 1, Witness, atlantic, comedy etc and I think the documentary channels as well, as I certainly watch all of them.
Sky Cinema
Sky Kids (but I don't pay extra for this, it just got bundled in)
Sky Box sets - so we can download and watch a load of classic stuff as well
I don't have sports aside from a legacy package that still means I get F1 at no cost, but I won't miss it if it goes anymore I don't expect
I get that all through Sky Q, and have one extra Sky Q mini box which is in the bedroom so we can watch shows and recordings in either room, which is nice.

Sky Q allows you to record stuff, pause stuff etc. Also, if you have a second/third/fourth mini box (Which comes at a cost) then you can watch the recordings on any TV in the house, not just the main one, as they all link themselves together.
They definitely do like to try and get you into a "Package" though - and the upselling offsets the cost of some of the lesser packages by knocking a bit off. I know this because I just looked online and noted that I was now separately billed for Sky F1 which I wasn't before, although the overall cost of my bill has only changed by a couple of %, but that is because having a paid-for F1 subscription "saves" £8 a month on Sky Cinema and £3.50 a month on Sky Entertainment.
Sky Kids - that is £5 a month you don't need to spend - I get it free and have kids though, which is a benefit to me! (Who doesn;t want to watch Peppa Pig at 3am?)

Yes, I "paused" Sky F1 online, and will actually cancel it at some point because I don't watch it anymore, I think I watched 2 races last year, its not for me.
Unusually they've given me all sky Sports for free at the moment, I'm not sure what I can watch but I didn't even know this until just now.

First problem! SkyGo is on my iMac but I've no idea where it is. I thought it would be in my Applications folder but it isn't. Was wanting to drag the icon onto my menu bar for quick opening but I need to locate the app first. Searches reveal nothing!
ETA SkyGo arrived because I've just ordered the basic + cinema package at £36 a month. The 'Spotify for three months free' offer to new subscribers hasn't appeared at the end of my order like they said it would, which is slightly annoying, so I'll have to call about that. Earliest installation date isn't until mid June.

Is Sky reducing the cost of your package given that there is no live sports any more?
