I'm sure i'm not alone in cancelling my Sky Sports subscription at the end of live sports being broadcast & with the Football season seemingly getting ushered through the back door for an early return i am wondering if the Sky Sports subs will automatically return ?

After reading the some of the hair brained half baked proposed new possible restrictions that may apply when football returns i'm not sure i really want to pay for sky sports .

Will i get a choice ?

I thought you can just pause it for the time being and then once it's back un-pause it?

Yes, but the point what does 'back-up" mean? Just some football, or all sports as usual?

I paused my Sky Sports & BT Sport through Virgin Media. My last bill was £28 a month rather than the £69 a month it usually is. Can still watch the channels.

I paused my Sky Sports. I recall they decided when sport was officially back and would start charging. I’d be irritated if yesterday’s German game (if it was on Sky) was defined as ‘back’ and they started billing me again.
