Lady H watches this and it's not really my cup of tea but watching Henry Blofeld being feted by Indian cricket fans was a joy to behold.

Have to admit i'm not a cricket fan but yes that was a joy. The surviving chuckle brother complains of an upset stomach but in the previous show he did'nt seem to be far away from a bottle of scotch.

I quite like it as a series and the first one inspired us to go to Kerala.

Not sure why Chuckle (defintely a Johhny Walker Red fan) and Barabara D have bothered going but the rest seem to be making the most of it.

It’s good family viewing but for the current season only the first programme is available. I assume the current pandemic has prevented them filming any other episodes.

Henry Blofeld seemed a real character and I’d like to see him again in any future episodes (he doesn’t half seem to sweat though!).

I wouldn’t have recognised Britt Ekland.

Last night's was the second episode. I guess because of it's target audience they are sticking to one episode a week on TV and not throwing it all at iPlayer for binge watching.

Me too.
I love the fact that John Altman is a mardy mard.
Zandra Rhodes is ace and Blowers is a proper geezer.
Duncan Bannatyne faking illness when he just didn't fancy the train!
Fun tele in these straightened times.

But then DB, having missed the train, did the 200 mile journey by car. Local taxi or a stretch limo I wonder ...?

I think Duncy was just trying to escape from the advances of Britt!

I said to my mrs he’d probably called up a helicopter to pick him up.
Britt is a fright - did you know she’s a Bond girl? Yes love, half a century ago.
Blowers is ace - love to have afternoon tea and cake with him.

We've watched the first episode and thoroughly enjoyed it, they're certainly a bunch of diverse characters.

BTW, for anyone searching for it, it's 'The Real Marigold Hotel'.

My fault I'm afraid. Maybe the Mods can change it.

Best way is to report your post and ask them.

We watched the second episode earlier; one of the best things currently on TV.

Mind you, what a girl Britt was in her younger days, watched the Petter Sellars documentary the other day.

I think fair play to her. Seems to have lived her life on her terms and still does

I loved how Blowers just naturally dropped in to commentary mode at the local cricket match.

A bit surprising in the 2nd episode that they go to Madurai , spend 2 days there and somehow don't show any shots of the actual city. The temple architecture is absolutely stunning.
