Started watching this again due to the lockdown. I'd not seen it for years and I'd forgotten what an utter masterpiece this is.

Revisit it, it's brilliant. I've just finished Season 4 and the last two episode are among the best TV I've ever watched.

For me it just got sillier & sillier as the run went on into series 7 & 8 & clearly they'd run out of ideas for stupid things people would put up with him doing.

It was noticeable that the only cast member to didn't return to pay tribute in the last episodes of S8 was Lisa Edelstein who refused to be shafted over pay & left at the end of S7.

But Olivia Wilde cloud9

The first few series were superb but I agree, it just went the way of many successful US shows.
They just will not finish a show until the ratings slump, resulting in the final few series becoming poor.
House dragged on well after it should have concluded as did Better call Saul.

Disappointed now - sounds like I've hit the high point and it's about to go downhill .

Look on the bright side, you are not watching reruns of Lost.

First diagnosis: One of House's team asks "Is it Lupus?". Treat the patient for Lupus, they nearly die.
House and Cuddy argue.
Second diagnosis: come up with something else and treat the patient for that. The patient nearly dies.
House and Cuddy argue some more.
Third diagnosis is always correct and the patient walks out of hospital cured.

The first couple of seasons are ok then it starts to get boring and repetitive.

I have a feeling it was good up to the 5th series/season.

worth watching it for the Lisa Edelstein lap dancing scene.

Is it back on Netflix?

True!

It's on prime only I think.

In the end it was the medical ste I got bored with, ended up fast forwarding through that to watch the storyline.

It's currently on one of the Freeview channels as well, early evening I think.

I loved House, it's must be the only "recent" show I've watched completely hehe I just love his charater, in fact all the characters are good and likeable. The middle seasons did get a bit boring but I really enjoyed the final couple. And the ending was perfect IMHO.
