‘ Dark’ - Netflix
Discussion
I know a few people on here watch this show and seeing as I can’t find / can’t be bothered to find the thread for it, thought I would create this given the trailer for season 3 has been released:

For people that aren’t aware, some compare it to Stranger Things although this would be a more serious, German version centred around time travel paradoxes..
This tweet encapsulates my feelings towards season 3 -

I think a rewatch beforehand will be required.

A longer trailer has now been released.

I'm rewatching it to refresh my memory. This is the 3rd time I've watched S1, but this first time I've revisited it since watching S2, and even just in the first episode, I'm picking up little details for things you don't find out about until much later.
I wonder if we'll find out what happened to Wöller's eye.

I've watched both seasons of it so far and have to say it's pretty frustrating.
There's a lot of pointless faffing about, too many characters to keep track of (and each character can have up to three iterations of varying age) and no matter what the characters try to do, it's implied that they are all stuck in a sequence of predetermined events so nothing they do matters ... they can change nothing, it's all already happened.
My guess is in the final moments of the very last episode of the whole show, someone will succeed in changing something and break the whole loop.

Also don’t think the casting will ever be beaten in another film or tv show...

I have finally just binge watched Season 3. I was very confused at the start of the season, wondering where on earth they were going with it but I think it ended perfectly tbh.
Definitely one of my favourite series of all time.
It is a very good show and one of my all time favourites as well. Definitely one of my favourite series of all time.
Personally I think they could have set up some of the elements a little better in earlier seasons, like the importance of Tannhaus.
In regards to the ending I would have preferred it if
it were a closed loop and them appearing suddenly caused the car to veer off the road and crash. Meaning that the cycle continues for all eternity and this were just one of the loops in it
If we couldnt have that though the ending we did get was very good and emotional.
