New series on Discovery Monday 2100.
First programme about the little known Carrol Shelby Pantera. It was used as a test bed for the Dodge Viper.

Watched this , a lot of talking and quite interesting but i don't think it really showed enough of the actual work carried out. Will stick with it a bit to see if it improves but only about 5/10 for me at the moment.

Hopefully in the next episode they won’t have to introduce the staff again so more time for the actual cars. It was interesting that they managed to find the original engine........ ...

Yes , but all it showed you after 30 years lying in a scrapyard was a compression test , replacement of some consumables and a paint. Has the chance of being a good show with some good cars ,like the charger you briefly saw but just want a bit less talking and a bit more work.

Watched the first couple - find it a slightly refreshing change from the endless Fast'n'Loud clones - don't mind a bit more background & history - there's been quite a bit of stuff that was new to me in each.

I think this will come good. Decent camera work and soundtrack and has started strong. So long as they put a leash on "mad Mike" I think we're good.

But, how many other shows started with a painters destined for a V8 twin turbo.

I've always said one of my lottery cars will be some american muscle with a V8 and two turbos the size of my head and 1000 brake.

Exactly what I was thinking while watching ep2. I might try another, maybe.
