Topical given the recent passing of Alan Parker, I have been wanting to show my daughter Pink Floyd - The Wall but all I can find is a DVD on Amazon UK (not great as I’m in NZ). Maybe I can find a DVD here but it would mean buying a DVD player. Pretty frustrating

Licensing mostly, there are a surprising amount of well-known films that have either never come out on Blu Ray or only as a limited release. Or sometimes the director won't allow it, such as James Cameron with True Lies and The Abyss. He'll only allow remastered versions to be released, but is too busy with the 17 Avatar sequels no-one asked for.
