I'm looking to reposition the TV in the kitchen, away from the aerial socket.
What I've tried -
1. I do not want to lay a new cable around the kitchen.
2. I've tried a new mobile aerial antenna, but unfortunately it doesn't work when next to the TV, only by the window (ironically next to the existing aerial socket).
3. I cannot chase in the aerial down the wall from the room upstairs unfortunately due to no access in the room above due to a tiled floor.

What options have I missed?
I can receive signal via wifi where I want the telly placed, so can get netflix, but not live TV signals.

You can get many of the live channels via iPlayer & other catchup services such a ITV Hub & All4.

Your link doesn't work. Rather like the device I suspect.

Thanks for that Mr.Pointy. TBH I hadn't actually realised that - only using the apps for catchup.
What (as far as I can see) using this methods lacks, is a "guide" functionality which lists whatever is on across all channels right now - in one place. I'd have to load the respective app and see whats on there (e.g. across the BBC channels) then itv app, then Dave (or whatever app thats on) etc etc.

Otherwise it's a winner.

Only problem with that is it appears to be HDMI input/output only, and the OP is after some way of transmitting via the aerial socket in the wrong place read

Years ago I tried an aerial transmitter device when I moved our house layout around.

The one I had was a small freeview receiver which took an aerial connection and transmitted the channel to a receiver connected to the TV. It had a remote which was used from the TV location to change the channel transmitted by the freeview receiver.

It was very unsatisfactory in performance and as soon as we had the chance to use WiFi and online players we ditched it.

Technology has moved on since then so if you find a new one it may be better than the one I had.

It's highly unlikley. Transmitting eight Freeview multiplexes across a room is not a trivial excercise.

Your post crossed with my edit which updated how mine worked. It transmitted one channnel at a time with a remote remote to change channel.

An online version of Freeview would solve a lot of problems.
