Black Panther "Chadwick Boseman" Dies
Discussion
Sad news, especially as colon cancer is very survivable if caught early i.e. before it spreads.
If you, or anyone you know, have any of the symptoms then get tested. In fact if you have any of the symptoms insist on a colonoscopy.
Not sure if the Gov post out test kits to people when they turn 50 in the UK (they do here). If they do and you get one then do the test.
My wife had low iron levels and 2 weeks before her 40th she was diagnosed with bowel cancer. Fortunately it hadn’t got out and 3 years on all the scans and tests so far are clear. Fingers crossed it stays that way.
I don’t want to think about how things would have turned out if her GP hadn’t insisted on a colonoscopy.

My wife is currently showing some of the physical symptoms of colon cancer. Blood test has come back as low iron which is not good. We're waiting on a scan appointment but it's taking some time due to Covid. If you, or anyone you know, have any of the symptoms then get tested. Fingers crossed for your wife, I had a colonoscopy(so) February this year and my consultant had to refer some of the results to his colleagues. So far it all seems OK but I am scheduled to have a follow up in November.I try not to think about it to much as I know the process of diagnosis is under way. It might be worth seeing if you can get a private scan I did mine through bupa it was very quick for the first appointment.
