Came across this a few days ago, a 5-part documentary about the story of Greg Kelley who was 18 and found guilty of child abuse in 2014. It’s new on Sky Crime channel and of course on catchup.

Without giving too much away, it’s a shambolic story of a conviction that should never have happened, and the conspiracy of everyone from the police, prosecution and even the defence lawyers in sending an 18yo kid to prison.

Thoroughly recommended, and a perfect snapshot of everything that’s wrong with the politicised US legal system.

I watched this last week in a binge session. Its horrific that something like that can and does still happen. Corrupt right from the start. Regarding the Texas Ranger, I can't still fathom any reasonable explanation for what he instigated. I'm at a total loss of his intentions and what he was to gain from that!
Special mention to the new Cedar County DA with the most inappropriate name ever! I thought he came across as a very decent human being seen as it was his department that has caused all this.
Excellent documentary though spanning 7 years of someones life and how it can all change in an instant.
