As title, tonight Ch5 9pm

"Although Irish Travellers legally owned the land of Dale farm, in a sleepy corner of Essex, they did not have planning permission to develop it and the site grew in size"

Anyone taking bets on how one-sided this is likely to be?

exactly this, having lived in the area and had personal issues with them, i the know the damage they have done to people and businesses.

whilst many of them may be ok people, there are a group that are quite simply out of control, and the rest tolerate the behaviour, and then get upset when they are tarred with the same brush.

They are a kind, caring and very much misunderstood minority group who should be treated as victims.

Oh wait, i've just noticed it's on C5 and not the BBC, so cancel that statement!!

I do recall there was a main council guy who just would relent, regardless of costs.

I do hope he is now a Sir!
