Honour - ITV's drama, based on a real-life "honour killing"
Discussion
Anyone watch the factual drama that focuses on the real-life ‘honour killing’ of Banaz Mahmod, a 20-year-old Iraqi Kurdish woman who was murdered on the orders of her family after she left an abusive marriage for another man?
Disturbing to watch, showing how for some communities, "Honour" is more important than anything else.
Unbelievable they are treated as heros in their home country. No remorse and didn't seem to think he had done anything wrong.
How the hell can that be right to kill another human being, even more so one of your own family.
Bragging about on the phone in prison as well.
I just really really can understand it.

They certainly weren't very bright as they were warned that the police record the calls and then still went ahead and spilled the beans.
Their values are totally incompatible with civilized society and they need locking up or removing from the UK.
The fact that it's considered normal and they are "heroes" in their own country is pretty disturbing and like something out of the dark ages.
Very well put together and acted though. Must have been difficult for the cast and crew at times too.

Agreed. Absolutely sickening. They need stringing up, there would no shortage of hang men, for these utter scum. Their values are totally incompatible with civilized society and they need locking up or removing from the UK.
