Help with channel name/channel
Discussion
This is a very long shot, but I'm just wondering if anyone with any knowledge of UK TV programs or channels can identity the logo in the below screenshot:

It's from an old VHS recording I have from the early 2000s (I think, but don't think it's from the early 90s - but could be wrong). Apologies for the distortion as I only managed to capture a few seconds of it before the programme feature starts. The feature of the program is about a kit car enthusiast from Cheshire who builds a replica 1930s BMW (the guys over at the classics thread will probably know more about this person), but I haven't the foggiest what channel or programme this was shown on (my dad had taped it). Could be from a local region station like Granada Reports (the only one I can think of) but I've never seen that "Style" logo/lettering on that particular program before. I've gone through all the defunct UK cable satellite and terrestrial freeview channels but can't find any that were called Style (except Lifestyle but I believe that went in the 90s), nor the the current channels. If it were a SKY or cable channel (or one of the many freeview channels) I would've expected to see a logo at the top of the screen, but there isn't, which could mean it was probably shown on one of the 5 main channels (don't think C5 though has they display a logo I think during their films/shows).
The people over at digitalspy will likely no more.

Hmmm, you could be right there, could be UKTV Style. I don't know why I never came across that on my channel search. I do remember that channel (not sure if its still going), but would'nt that channel have a logo displayed in the corner of the screen during programs, as most freeview/multi channel SKY/Cable channels do?.

Not necessarily. There was a lot of debate about DOGs in the early days & the channel may have been transmited without one.Gassing Station | TV, Film, Streaming & Radio | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
