This has all the hallmarks of being unbearable if only because Helen Stanley (Goblin workshop) is in it. She’s accompanied by Paul Cowland as they struggle to buy cars within in a set budget. Should be riveting viewing rofl

Two new episodes tonight on Quest at 10 and 10.30pm - Looks like it's just finding customers their "Dream Rides"...! Might be worth a look!

There’s a lot of online hate for Helen Stanley. She’s a talented, attractive young woman who knows her cars. I get the impression that most of the bile comes from past-it old blokes who wouldn’t stand a chance with her and a rather jealous of her success.

I’m watching and enjoying it. Both her and Paul make good TV, hence they keep getting commissions. I’m sure if you look hard enough on YouTube you can find some old footage of William Woollard in a natty pullover on 80’s Top Gear discussing the fuel economy of the Austin Maestro.

I'm 61 and you can still keep her. We all like different things, however annoying they are. wink

Having (half) watched one episode tonight, she doesn’t seem the most dynamic of presenters, the programme was fine though.

Watched both episodes - It was OK if predictable, and Helen looks better than she sounds...! Don't think I've seen anyone testing a Porsche Cayman, and an AMG C63 only to buy a Range Rover diesel!

Much like the 'Classic Wheels or Bargain Steals' or whatever it was called with some chap called Elo and a pretty blonde.

Better than watching the news or 'Question Time', that's for sure.

I couldn’t agree more. I’m 67 and wouldn’t waste my time on the vacuous ninny. I lasted about 5 minutes viewing last night before turning off and returning to my cocoa.

I'm 70 Nah-nah-na-nah-nah. I watched the first episode and considered 30 minutes of my life wasted, I was surprised the client didn't take another Peugeot as he seemed quite conservative. The selection of the Mini Countryman as a contender speaks volumes of the presenters.

Just seen an episode of this today. fk me, what a plum.

Punter: I want a four seater, with a big boot, to schlep up and down the M40 and to go to the south of France. It's to replace a Range Rover.

Elo: Here's a Morgan!

Sorry but that was just boring. Mind you, I still can't get past the stench of Goblin Worst Garage so maybe my view is biased?
