Name 5 films you'd really love to see available as a proper 4K UHD disc that currently aren't - no judgments here, crap and classic alike! tongue out

(I'm talking genuine studio releases, and not including TV rips/streams on the web)

Multi film series can count as one tongue out

P*rn doesn't count! nono

I'd go for:

Shawshank Redemption
A Good Year (my GP smile)
Field of Dreams
True Romance
Tron+Tron Legacy

Tron legacy is stunning enough in Blu Ray, can't imagine what it would be like in 4k.

True. I'd also love to see both Sin City films in 4k. The more you think about it, the more you can name!

I know where you're coming from higher resolution won't make a bad film good, or vice versa.

Personally I struggle to tell the difference between 1080 and 4K, even with my glasses on these days.

VHS is a whole different thing, film is mostly a visual art form, and VHS was terrible, it was terrible when 28" TVs were considered the norm. Now everyone is watching 50" and above it would be terrible. Consider a film like Lawrence of Arabia and it famous opening scene. It wouldn't have the same impact on VHS. It's stunning in 4K, although I'm sure it's still great in 1080 on a decent screen.
