As i am reading Ed Bolians book now, I'd like to watch the 32hrs7min film but can't find it to buy or stream anywhere.

Anyone know where I can find it? Happy to pay of course, I'm not looking for a dodgy free link or anything.

I've tried searching but it appears to have been removed from places like vimeo, and the only DVD I can find was £80! (I won't pay that much!!).

Thanks.

Long since disappeared. Google "APEX The Secret Race Across America". Much of the same footage as Cory Welles' film, but better.

Apex is on iTunes, it’s a fantastic film I’d recommend Alex Roy’s book The Driver too it’s got a lot of the details about making the attempts and what got him into racing cross country.

On similar lines I listened to a podcast from The Smoking Tyre which featured the Apex movie, Alex Roy & maybe someone who participated in one of the Cannonballs - pretty sure it was from March last year, worth a listen if you can find it.

Thanks. Just looked up "Apex..." and it's £8.99 on Amazon Prime to stream, so will probably take a look at that. Some reviews say it's not as good as "32 hours..." (albeit using the same base material), but if 32 Hours is not available then it's the best I can do!!

Already read "The Driver" - enjoyed that. Has Ed Bolian's book for ages, but only just getting round to reading it.

I remember listening too and could never remember the name of the film, wrote it down now I'm not driving to watch over the next few weeks!

Im not sure that I would pay for either... APEX is very easy to find a torrent for.

Apex is probably marginally better but they both spend too much time on Alex's attempt and not enough on the old Cannonball. Badly needed a decent editor.

It exists online if you wish to find it from those free, less legal places, found it there myself a few years ago but still haven't gotten round to watching it.

The director,Cory Welles was selling signed copies in a package with a t-shirt a few years ago.
I bought a copy but to be honest,I haven’t taken the time to sit down and watch it.
From what I can remember, there were links to the sales website on several car forums.
