Always find this interesting seeing what other people want from a house etc
The last one though by Christ you would think you would tidy up a bit before the cameras came in.

All the houses they showed were great (granted don't know the area) but I just thought I'd hate to see them after 6 months of them being in

How did they end up with 100 mugs? I suspect like you say that their house will be a tip in six months.

Yeah I think it's just what some people are like. I don't have super high neat freak standards but I couldn't live like that. The house did look better but I do think the other houses were far superior, less so the 3rd one I loved the look of the second one

Always amazes me how people spend vast sums of money rather than making the house they have work for them.

Moving costs, bigger mortgage, council tax increase, heating/electric, more cleaning.

We've got a 3 bed semi, but one bedroom won't fit even a single bed. Family that live 200 miles away so guest accommodation is essential to us. I'm about to sort the utility room so we can set clothes in there, we have a front room that doubles as a guest bedroom when required. Two kids (2 years and 5 weeks old respectively). We'll have to move as they approach adolescence, probably, but the amount of mortgage interest we'll save in the mean time by not jumping to a bigger house is mind boggling.

Wasting rooms to clutter really is bonkers
