then you can watch.

i notice my new virgin recorder is nearly full of interesting stuff i want to watch one day, my old recorder is full. In addition i have lots and lots of box sets, some i bought myself some i got as presents and video tapes everywhere.

when will i get time to watch it all?

anyone else, is there anyone that can give tips on how to manage this, any self help groups maybe?

I don't bother recording. I just make use of the various catch-up services.

The only downside of that for me is that you still have to put up with commercial breaks. I'd rather record so you jump through the breaks.

My Sky Q box has almost 2TB of recordings that I can't keep up with. Im gradually transferring certain recordings to my laptop and onto external hard drive to keep for the future, usually stuff that won't be shown again.

In the same way as people used to have hundreds of DVDs - some still have. Aside Disney for childcare, How many actually got watched more than once?

Same here. Got a Virgin box full of stuff.

Brought it on myself by getting the full box set of Mash. Just started watching series 9. 200+ episodes at 3 or 4 a night means the Virgin box is backing up

Get Sky Go, then you can download everything on catch-up with the adverts neatly cropped out so you don't even have to FF through them.
