Why are BBC1 putting football on at peak times

I have no interest in football as loads of others , football until 7.30 , I thought that is what Sky sports is for

Football's the only decent thing on the BBC.

There are other channels and some licence holders do like football, without having cable or Sky etc (ie my old Dad - rare treat for him to see a live game these day; he was really happy when I told him it was on).

BBC has very little rights to anything nowadays having been outbid by Sky or BT ,so showing the FA cup is all they have .

Perhaps matches should be played at 10.30pm .

Not a chance , my team exited in the first round and lost in the league today too , so that's Quest out .
