Just watching this right now about 'Going Green'
Interviewing some woman who after giving birth to her 2nd child decided to make cutbacks/savings as living on just her husbands income wasn't feasible,she set herself a task and apparently in 12 months she saved her family £11k!. Apart from installing solar panels,using old clothes as cloths,buying food in bulk and turning the thermostat down a bit they didn't explain really how she managed to save so much money

Must have worked a few miricles somewhere to save that amount of money!
