Wow !
Up to Episode 4 of this 2017 documentary by Ken Burns showing every night currently on PBS America Ch 174. Usually starts around 8.30pm.
This is one of the best programmes I’ve watched in a very very long time - if you like your documentaries. Seriously Recommened.

The very best of TV documentaries and compulsive viewing.
Superb photography, fantastic interviews with both sides as the camera looks deep into the eyes and souls of the players..

Ep.1 - I didn't realise the French heritage went back to the mid 19th Century and did they mess things up.
Ep.2 - The Americans let it be known they would look the other way when the Vietnamese Army took over and murdered country's president. Buddhist monks set themselves on fire. Who would have believed it.
...and the shooting hadn't started properly.
Ep.3 - Time to keep your head down as the body count grows, especially from napalm dropped short.

Great to see President Johnson taking over from Kennedy and a first glimpse of ' tricky Dicky ' as Vice President.

All the President's Men was on TV recently which contrasts Nixon who, it has to be said, ended the debacle.

Saw it on Netflix but has since been removed

Yes it is a wonderful series- thoughtful, balanced and very interesting. They found some great subjects for interview from both sides too.

Watched it twice already - once when initially shown on BBC and again on Netflix.
