Do the plots continue to hinge on amazing coincidences, such as the deceased having an artificial joint that was only available with a particular sort of maker's mark for a few months in Cyprus (or wherever it was)?

The 4th series makes that coincidence inconsequential- wait til you see what they have with series 4 murder weapon
